Lorne Simmons joins AccessESP

AccessESP, a provider of rigless electric submersible pump (ESP) conveyance solutions for the global oil and gas industry, has welcomed Lorne Simmons to its customer-facing team. Based in Houston, he will be responsible for ensuring that oil and gas companies worldwide achieve the highest level of performance from rigless ESP solutions. 

Lorne Simmons commented, “Our job at AccessESP is to help operators reduce risk, lower total cost of intervention operations, and improve recovery. Our proven method of safely and efficiently deploying electrical submersible pumps (ESPs) without a rig and without pulling production tubing allows ESPs to be used in a wider range of applications to improve performance and to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.” 

Simmons joins AccessESP with 35 years of international oilfield experience. He has served in a variety of operational and leadership positions in drilling, completions and production technologies with Schlumberger, Welltec, and Borets.
