Teledyne CARIS launches newest edition of flagship HIPS and SIPS suite
FREDERICTON, New Brunswick, Canada -- Teledyne CARIS has announced the release of HIPS Essential, the newest edition to the flagship HIPS and SIPS suite of products. It has been designed keeping the needs of Ports and Waterways, small survey companies and small hydrographic offices in mind.

sential includes the tools necessary to support both single-beam and multi-beam sonar data, including the necessary calibration routines required to deliver accurate data. It supports 2D and 3D visualization, data cleaning, and provides the tools to extract contours, soundings and bathymetric surfaces for downstream product creation. It also includes the powerful CUBE surface-cleaning tool to further reduce the data processing timeline. End-to-end process automation can be achieved with the new Process Designer, maximizing time management and user reducing subjectivity.
