Lukoil signs cooperation agreement with Kalingrad's government

MOSCOW -- President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and governor of Kaliningrad Region Anton Alikhanov signed an agreement on cooperation between the company and the regional government for 2017-2022, in Kaliningrad today.

The agreement aims to develop an infrastructure for the petroleum products market, introduce innovative technologies for the production of hydrocarbons, protect the environment and use natural resources rationally. The document also establishes measures to develop the region’s social infrastructure and stipulates the company’s support for cultural, sports, educational and healthcare projects in the region.

As part of the agreement, the company will finance reconstruction of an outpatient clinic under the children’s regional hospital and also of playgrounds in six cities of the region, in 2017-2018.

Also, Vagit Alekperov and Anton Alikhanov met with employees of LUKOIL Group’s local subsidiaries and answered their questions.
