June 22, 2018

MILAN -- Eni and INA-INDUSTRIJA NAFTE, d.d. have signed an agreement to enable INA-INDUSTRIJA NAFTE, d.d. to acquire 100% of Eni Croatia b.v., that currently produces about 2,500 boed. The sale remains subject to approval by the competent Authorities.

Supply of natural gas from Croatia to the Italian market will be secured by a commercial agreement between INA and Eni, which will ensure the gas produced from the Marica exploitation area continues to be transported to Italy.

Through this deal, which is in line with its asset disposal and rationalization program, Eni exits the upstream sector in Croatia, where it has been present since 1996 in partnership with INA-INDUSTRIJA NAFTE, d.d..
