STAVANGER -- Preliminary production figures for December 2018 show an average daily production of 1.8 MMbbl of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease by 26 Mbpd compared to November.

Total gas sales were 10.8 billion Sm3 (GSm3), which is an increase of 0.6 GSM3 from the previous month.

Average daily liquids production in December was 1.5 MMbbl of oil, 318 Mbbl of NGL and 27 Mbbl of condensate.

Oil production for December is about 2.5% below the NPD’s forecast for the month and about 4% below the forecast for 2018.

The main reasons that production in December was below forecast is technical problems on some fields.

The figures for 2018 in the press release includes volumes of approximately .1 Sm3oil from the test production of the 7220/11-1 (Alta) discovery, which took place from June to August 2018.

As of today, this is not published on the FactPages, but will be soon.
