Gazprom names Oleg Aksyutin as deputy chairman
MOSCOW -- A number of changes have taken place in the composition and functions of the Gazprom leadership.
Oleg Aksyutin has been appointed deputy chairman of the management committee in charge of strategic development, long-term planning, project planning, the shaping and monitoring of the investment program, and procurement activities of Gazprom.
Vitaly Markelov, deputy chairman of the management committee, will oversee production operations, including hydrocarbon exploration, production, transportation, underground storage, processing and sales in the domestic market, the power sector, and interaction with governmental authorities.
Elena Burmistrova has been appointed Deputy Chairwoman of the Management Committee in charge of foreign trade activities, including trade in the CIS countries. At the same time, she will retain her position as head of Gazprom Export.
Gazprom Invest as the single customer is assuming the functions of managing capital construction and major repairs. Sergey Prozorov has been relieved of his post as member of the management committee and head of Department 333 due to retirement.
Igor Fedorov has been appointed managing director of Gazprom Germania GmbH. He will be replaced as a member of the management committee and head of Department 104 by Sergey Kuznets, deputy head of this department.
Andrey Kruglov has been relieved of his post as deputy chairman of the management committee due to his appointment to the civil service.
The corresponding decisions on the termination and commencement of membership in the Gazprom Management Committee will be adopted by the company's board of directors.
