Cubility and Argentina-based firm partner to distribute MudCube
STAVANGER -- Cubility AS, a leading provider of solids control solutions that improve efficiencies, solids control and HSE around drilling operations, has announced an exclusive partnership with Argentinian solids control specialists Polyar SA to market, sell and support its MudCube solution across Argentina.
In kicking off the partnership, Cubility is to sell Polyar three MudCubes, the industry’s first compact solids control system that eliminates the traditional process of shaking fluid and solids.
It is anticipated that the MudCube will play a key role in the Vaca Muerta development, one of the world’s largest deposits of shale oil & gas, where the combination of expensive drilling fluids alongside high transport and waste disposal costs makes it the environment ideal for the MudCube.

The MudCube eliminates the traditional process of shaking fluids and solids by using a vacuum-based/rotating screen filtration system. This allows more drilling fluid to be recycled back to the mud tanks, generates dryer cuttings and less waste, and leads to improved drilling efficiencies, reduced operational costs, and improved HSE and working conditions. The MudCube can also be easily integrated into existing rig designs, with fast installation and maintenance ensuring that it is up and running and delivering immediate value to shale operators.
