(WO) – Ikon Science, a global provider of geoprediction and open subsurface knowledge management software and services, announced the release of Curate 2023.3. Curate is a cloud-native subsurface knowledge management solution that unlocks siloed data enabling users to make well-informed decisions with increased confidence and expedite workflows.

Ikon’s new app showcases a map redesign centered around performance and scalability, providing the capacity to handle over 1 million wells straight from the platform, a data matrix to easily inventory projects to see what wells have complete or missing data, smooth project collaboration, and supports the ability to create depth trends without the need for additional curves.

Curate 2023.3 introduces enhanced features that greatly streamline subsurface data workflows, expanding the knowledge management solution’s flexibility and intuitiveness for subsurface data consumers. Curate’s new capabilities significantly improve performance and scalability, providing the ability to handle large well datasets of over 1 million wells and quick overviews of well data availability as well as key project details.

Curate 2023.3 includes major enhancements to its real-time pore pressure monitoring application, Well Surveillance, that allow the ability to visualize and model data in true vertical depth, revise pre-drill markers while drilling and export interpretation data directly from the web browser. Additionally, Curate's data interrogation application, Data Explorer, now supports array data or data measurements with duplicate depths. These new features offer subsurface data consumers the ability to make decisions with even greater accuracy, safety, and speed to achieve improved operational efficiency.

Close collaboration to understand key user groups’ critical workflows has resulted in optimized functionality for a more user-friendly and intuitive interface. Curate 2023.3 offers more personalization, allowing users better control over how their data is organized and accessed across various applications. This enhanced feature streamlines the workflow and provides a more efficient data management solution.

Monica Beech, Product Manager of Data Management and Visualization applications at Ikon Science, said, “With Curate 2023.3, Ikon Science is demonstrating its commitment to providing a modern and intuitive technology that connects users to their subsurface data. The new features show our dedication to enhancing the enterprise value of our clients. We are working with our user community and the market at large to address a fundamental yet unfulfilled need shared by many for quick and efficient access, confidence, and usability of important subsurface data and knowledge.”
