Just a five-minute drive from the Aberdeen International Airport, the Event Complex Aberdeen (TECA) is in a convenient, easily accessible location for those attending from near or far. The events center is also a seven-minute drive from the Dyce train station and an eight-minute drive from Aberdeen City to Dyce. It is just a 20-min. drive from City Centre, and just 30 min. by bus.

TECA, which will be named “P&J Live” when it opens, boasts world-class conference and exhibition facilities for organizers and delegates across the globe. Replacing the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), TECA is a £333-million ($423-million) development. The complex is environmentally friendly, featuring its own energy center, which will use local renewable resources and advanced technologies to produce an energy eco-system. It reportedly will be the most sustainable venue of its type in the UK upon opening this summer, Fig. 2.

The contemporary venue encompasses 48,000 m2 (516,668 ft2) of world class, multi-purpose event space, including seven conference suites and three exhibition halls.

For those traveling from afar to attend the conference and exhibition, there are several options for on-site accommodations. There are two on-site hotels with 350 rooms—the four-star Hilton Hotel, with 200 available rooms, and an Aloft Hotel that will reportedly feature an additional 150 rooms shortly after opening. There is a broad selection of other accommodations nearby, as well.

TECA has been designed around audience comfort, boasting ergonomic seating, unrestricted sight lines and plenty of natural light to aid concentration. Conference presentations at TECA pack an audio-visual punch, benefiting from the latest technology, unlimited WiFi, and a team of technical experts in charge.
