Ethos Energy awarded multi-million-dollar contract by Brunei Shell Petroleum
BRUNEI -- Ethos Energy has been awarded a multi-million-dollar, five-year maintenance service agreement by Brunei Shell Petroleum for the provision of engineers and improvement of compressor packages on the Champion 7 offshore platform in the South China Sea, off the coast of Brunei.
The maintenance service agreement includes provision of two resident Critical Rotating Equipment Engineers to improve the reliability and availability of four compressor packages on BSP’s Champion 7 offshore platform.
Sean Carter, senior V.P. of APAC Region, Ethos Energy said, “Our value-add solution for this contract revolved around cost reduction, inventory and contractor management whilst providing our customer with a one stop shop for all aspects of the project.
“We have a local skills base and management team who will be working with the customer to ensure these compressor packages are returned to service on time and running efficiently. It is our commitment to improve performance for our customer through our tailor-made maintenance programs and the integration of new products.”
The scope of work also entails the improvement of the preventative maintenance planning via inventory management and overhaul/outage services for the following engines and compressors; Ruston TB5000, Rolls-Royce Avon 200, GE LM1600, Kawasaki Gas Compressor and Man Turbo Gas Compressor.
