ELA Offshore to equip Jumbo MV Fairplayer
DEUTSCHLAND, Germany -- ELA Container Offshore GmbH has recently delivered two ELA Offshore Living Quarters, Type Allrounder, to Jumbo Offshore. The TLQs were installed on board their Construction Support Vessel MV Fairplayer.
Jumbo is a heavy lift shipping and offshore transportation & installation contractor from the Netherlands and has been developing pioneering solutions for ocean transportation for more than 50 years. Since 2003, building on their heavy lift capability, Jumbo rapidly established a sound track record in the offshore subsea installation market. Today they operate versatile and in-house designed heavy lift vessels with a lifting capacity from 650 t up to 3,000 t.
The ELA Offshore Living Quarters will be used by Jumbo during the offshore transportation and installation of the 60 transition pieces for a wind farm. "Jumbo was looking for extra sleeping accommodation on short notice for their client and available deck space was limited. As we always keep containers in stock we were able to deliver instantly”, says Frank ter Haak, business development, Netherlands and Belgium at ELA Container Offshore GmbH.

In terms of fire resistance, an A60 insulation provides high safety standards. Every container will be checked before delivery. Depending on customer requirements, ELA Offshore Containers are individually customized, immediately operational and are available at short notice.
