CNOOC begins production from Bozhong 19-6 oil and gas field offshore China
(WO) – China’s offshore Bozhong 19-6 natural gas and condensate field has commenced production, according to CNOOC Limited.
The Bozhong 19-6 offshore project is in the central part of China’s Bohai Sea, with an average water depth of approximately 23 m. The field was discovered in 2017 in an area that has produced several other successful producing assets for CNOOC.
The main production facilities at Bozhong 19-6 include a wellhead platform, with 10 development wells planned to be commissioned.
The project is expected to achieve a peak production of approximately 5,800 boed in 2026.
