Eni awards multi-million contract to Hilong Offshore for Congo LNG project
Hilong Offshore, a subsidiary of China-based Hilong Group, has secured a transportation and installation contract for phase two of Eni’s Congo LNG project. The deal is valued at approx. $55 million USD (400 million yuan).
The latest contract follows several successful contracts with large operators since 2024, Hilong Offshore noted. Hilong has previously worked with Eni Group and PetroThailand, with a total amount of more than RMB 2.6 billion and a total order in hand of more than RMB 4 billion. These projects have taken place in Congo (Brazzaville), Thailand and Brunei, covering multiple subdivisions of the offshore engineering business from new construction to disposal, including basic design of offshore engineering, offshore transportation and installation of platforms, onshore and offshore connection commissioning and disposal of old platforms.
