To succeed in today’s fast-paced and constantly evolving economic environment, oil & gas companies must extract maximum insight from scattered, multidisciplinary datasets in order to optimize capital deployment for new wells and maximize production. This presentation will unveil a new oil & gas data science partnership that creates a major change for D&C optimization, enabling operators to harness historical and real-time data to reduce costs and improve well economics. The completion optimization model leverages standard drilling data and interpretations to assess rock properties and the risk of frac hits to offset wells. This enables completion designs to be rapidly tailored to the reservoir for every well. Real-time data analytics are leveraged during fracture operations to precisely verify stage placement and maximize pumping time effectiveness. Post-completion KPIs are then used as inputs to calibrate fracture and reservoir models, creating a feedback loop of continuous improvement.

Sealing and diverting annular returns is critical to managed pressure drilling (MPD) operations. Traditional rotating control device (RCD) technology and deployment methodology was not designed for the challenges of deepwater. This webcast will discuss how the innovative design of an active control wellbore sealing device eliminates major sources of wear, maintenance, and risk for these challenging environments. This webcast will address how the technology is evolving to greatly improve economics and the overall application of MPD.
